Web Design - Cheap Website Pricing, Custom Web Design
Websites vary widely. They can range from simple, text-on-page, html-formatted informative sites to highly complex corporate websites with a wide array of different functions and features. We want our clients to be able to have a good range of flexibility, so pinning down precise prices is difficult. It is for that reason that we prefer to talk with all of our prospective clients and discuss what they have in mind for their website, so that we can provide them with options and suggestions to get them what they need at an affordable price. However, we strive to keep our websites affordable, so the following estimates are usually close to the mark. Call us at (310) 433-2136 or email gene@trulyuniqueweb.com for a free consultation and quote.
Simple websites typically run from $150 to $300, depending on how advanced the functionality is and how much formatting is involved. Sites with few pages and limited layout can run even lower; we've bid particularly simple sites as low as $75.
Examples: A simple landing page; a four-page informative website; a site promoting and selling a single product or service; a personal blog; a portfolio site.
Typical business websites, which generally include database functionality, CMS, shopping carts, and other backend coding, generally go from $500 to $1,000, based on the complexity and amount of backend coding.
Examples: A retailer's site; a directory site; a file host; a forum; a webcomic; a restaurant site with online orders; a content or article-based site.
Most member-driven websites, which tend to have large databases, lots of backend scripting and dynamic functionality, and often advanced social and media functions, range from $1,250 to $2,500.
Examples: A wholesaler's site; A video-sharing site; a complex forum with unique features in different areas; a social networking site; a dating site; an auction site.
High-end corporate websites requiring significant advanced or unique functionality can run as much as $3,000 or more. To date, however, we have not yet had a site that we have felt required us to charge more than $5,000, although we have rebuilt sites for people who had originally paid in excess of $20,000.
Examples: A full on-line publication; an on-line game site; a full-scale social site with all the trimmings; a major business site with memberships, shopping carts, and media content; a search engine.
