Flexibility is necessary in a successful website design. Eventually (and probably sooner than you think) you will want to add new features or pages, change certain aspects of the layout, or remove things that you realize you don't actually want. And often, these changes will occur before the site has even gone live. And, although we would dearly love to make a single initial bid and never need to charge another cent no matter how many changes and additions are needed in the future, that simply doesn't work. What we can and do provide, however, is a number of options to maximize your flexibility and minimize your costs.

Then, we take 20% of our profits from anything you purchase from us, and credit that towards future purchases. Typically, our clients use this credit to automatically cover unexpected additions, changes, or modifications that we may have to make during the design process, or future additions to the site as they get new ideas or feedback. If, however, you know what you want and don't plan to change your mind, we are glad to use this credit as cash for other purchases. Use it to get a free RSS feed, to buy graphic design or video work from our Media Center, or to pay for that time-consuming data entry that you don't want to do yourself. The only exceptions are costs that we have to pay out to others as part of the service (such as to buy a necessary program), or standard SEO costs. We never charge to fix any glitches that may come up as a result of our coding. 
 
You can build your credit by referring other people to us. We credit a minimum of 10% of the cost from any referred client directly to your account. 
 
Even when you don't have a credit, you still don't have to prepay for every little change you want to make. Many very small changes we make for free. Rather than a flat-fee maintenance program where you pay X amount per month for Y hours of work - whether you use them or not - we only track expenditure which require a significant amount of our time to perform and only bill for these when your total reaches $100 or more. 
 
We're also willing to work on a partial commission basis. While we can't work entirely for commissions, we often find clients who we feel have a good enough idea that we feel we can help make a big enough success to defer some immediate costs in exchange for a future commission on sales. Beyond that, we just do our best to keep costs down, whether by improving our own productivity by creating expandable and modular code we can readily use in multiple websites, or talking with you about what your plans are and how we can best optimize your budget.
